Spark arts painting in action_edited-1
Spark Arts Wine and Paint event to support JDRF was held in Bethel CT.

Amy Gusitsch and Kim Ramsey hosted a wine and paint event at Spark Arts in Bethel. Over 40 people gathered together for an evening of creativity while also enjoying delicious food, wine, a great raffle and the opportunity to make new friends all while supporting JDRF.

Myles Wall coordinated a JDRF Fundraiser at Elements Food & Spirits in White Plains to support his young son, Jake. This fun evening featured happy hour specials, fun raffle items, along with great food and music.

Lord & Taylor Scarsdale included JDRF in the list of charities benefiting from their annual shopping day. This is the second year that they have supported JDRF in this popular and successful charity event.

Like last year, Mixology hosted a shopping day and this year they expanded it all 6 stores in the NY Metro area. Their Westchester stores were busy all day with JDRF supporters stopping in to pick up some trendy clothes and great accessories. We thank store manager, Jackie Fodiman, for her help and continuing support.

Lola New York hosted a shopping night at their elegant White Plains store. Holiday shoppers found gorgeous clothing, beautiful handbags and unique accessories and enjoyed the opportunity to support JDRF! Special thanks to Theresa Stagg for arranging this successful event.

Kelli Sules hosted a Cabi Clothing shopping night. This unique company brings the clothes and accessories to you for a personal shopping experience.

Our friends from Presents for Purpose visited the Westchester Parent Coffee to offer their jewelry and accessories to the attendees and they donated a percentage of the sales to the chapter. Thank you to Leslie Weismann and Alana Kassin for their generosity and support.

Another in-home highlight was the Pampered Chef House Party hosted by Laura Daniels which featured cooking demonstrations, great food and holiday shopping. For those who couldnā€™t make it to the party, online ordering was available for another week allowing people to support JDRF and get some cool kitchen gadgets as well.

Lauren Fields Birthday Spin Party
Fun was had by all at JoyRide Westport for Lauren Field’s birthday celebration to support JDRF.

JoyRide in Westport was the place to be when Lauren Field celebrated her birthday with a Spin Party. Friends, family and fellow spin enthusiasts came together to support JDRF while working up a sweat. Plans for next yearā€™s party are already underway.

And just after the month ended, Sigal Hurvitz Bin opened her Formative Designs studio to host a shopping day which included an Artists Reception in the evening. This unique event offered the opportunity to meet NYC designers of everything from furniture to jewelry.

We very much appreciate the support and dedication these individuals, families and companies have for JDRF and our mission to turn type one into type none.
