This is a free, educational event that offers a look into JDRF’s funded research, along with featured breakout sessions where individuals can attend sessions based on their interests.

In addition to the main program, kids and teens can participate in the youth program.  They have a full day of activities, arts and crafts, games, and guest speakers!

Educational Sessions:
Diabetes Burnout: Strategies for Putting T1D on the Back Burner—Ellen O’Donnell, PhD, Staff Psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Instructor at Harvard Medical School, Diagnosed with T1D at age 21.

The Lag Effect of Food and Impact on Blood Glucose—Regina Shirley, RD, LDN, Nutrition and Diabetes Blogger at Serving Up Diabetes, Diagnosed with T1D at age 9

Life Stages Breakout Sessions:

Youth Programming:
Supervised, fun activities for children of all ages with T1D and their siblings will include a Mad Science show, mobile video game stations, arts and crafts, and more.
