JDRF along with Community Partner Sansum Diabetes Research Institute will be hosting TypeOneNation at Deckers Outdoor Corporation.Ā  Join the type 1 diabetes community to learn from the experts about T1D technology, therapies, health and wellness.

The dayĀ will feature a keynote presentation by Annie Shultz, Project Manager, Outreach & Recruitment TrialNet Hub at the Benaroya Research Institute, who will speak about her experiences as an artificial pancreas trial participant and JDRF’s mission.

Following this will be aĀ  Technology Update panel which includes Dr. Bart O. Roep, Chairman of the Department of DiabetesĀ Immunology, Dr. David Kerr, Director of Research and Innovation at Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, Mark Harmel, CDE, MPH, Clinical Research Coordinator at the USC Westside Center for Diabetes and Brandon Arbiter. AfterĀ lunch, TrialNet Screenings and a vendor fair, participants will then choose from a variety of breakout sessionĀ topicsĀ for all ages and stages of T1D including:
