We want to let you know about an important change to JDRF Kids Online. The current Kids Online site, www.kids.jdrf.org, will be going away as of June 30, 2013.
But don’t worry! We’re building a new site for kids with type 1 diabetes (T1D). The new kids site will be a section of the main JDRF website. It’s not ready yet, but we’ll let you know when it’s up and running.
What does this mean for you? Well, if you have a Pen Pal through JDRF Kids Online, you won’t be able to contact him or her through the site after June 30. So please be sure to exchange e-mail addresses before then so you can continue to keep in touch on your own!
So what else can you do to stay connected while we make these changes? If you’re over 13, you can join TypeOneNation, JDRF’s online community for people touched by T1D. TypeOneNation is a great way to make new T1D friends from all over the world! Check it out at www.typeonenation.org!
We also want to hear from you about what you’d like to see on the new site for kids we’re working on. Got an idea or a suggestion? E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know!
Thanks for being an important part of the JDRF Kids Online community. Please look for our new site coming soon!
