A free type 1 diabetes (T1D) screening will be available at Blank Children’s Hospital Endocrinology Clinic for those who have a close relative with T1D. These screenings may determine the risk of developing T1D. Siblings, children or parents who are 1 to 45 years of age may be screened, as well as half-siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews who are 1 to 20 years of age.
