Bob Evans joined JDRF as a National Partner in 2014 by hosting a JDRF Paper Sneaker Sale at their 560 restaurants across 19 states. In their first year of partnership, Bob Evans helped to raise more than $100,000 for T1D research. The company has a long history of supporting the fight against diabetes. Its efforts began nearly 20 years ago with other diabetes-related organizations. Bob Evans employees also participate in JDRF Walk events across the country.
Delta Tau Delta
JDRF has been the national philanthropic partner of Delta Tau Delta since 2012. This partnership engages Delta Tau Delta’s 130 chapters and colonies on college campuses nationwide to work closely with local JDRF chapters to help raise funds and awareness for T1D. Since the partnership began, they have helped to raise more than $100,000 for T1D research. Additionally, Delta Tau Delta undergraduates and alumni have contributed more than 3,200 hours of service through local JDRF chapter events. The partnership with Delta Tau Delta strives to create multiple avenues for philanthropy and creativity, from volunteering at JDRF Galas and forming Walk teams to creating campus fundraising events to benefit T1D research.
Dexcom joined JDRF as a National Supporting Partner in 2014 through their support of the JDRF TypeOneNation Summit series. They have supported their local San Diego Chapter for more than 10 years, making significant contributions to type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. As a valued research partner for the JDRF Artificial Pancreas Project, Bag of Hope sponsor and member of the Industry Advisory Panel, Dexcom is supporting JDRF as they make great strides in improving the lives of individuals living with T1D.
Floyd’s 99 joined JDRF as a national partner in 2014 with the sale of its coupon book. Floyd’s offers customers a value book for a $5 donation to JDRF, with more than a $30 value. It is available from August 1-31 at the 75 company-owned and some franchise shops. Floyd’s 99 have been supporting JDRF for a number of years through their local chapter and are proud to now be supporting the organization at a national level. Floyd’s 99’s success is built on the choice to deliver great customer service, delivered by the best hairstylists and barbers in the business, in a fun, high-energy, environment at a great value.
Genentech, Inc. provides generous funding for JDRF advocacy and outreach programs such as Children’s Congress and patient education focused on preventing diabetic eye disease. Genentech is also a valued research partner in the area of diabetic complications and has funded more than $3 million in research since 2010.
Halloween Adventure and Smart Toys
Since 2003, Halloween Adventure and Smart Toys have raised nearly $1 million in support of JDRF. Both companies are considered to be among the nation’s largest, most respected, and most successful retailers in their industries. Halloween Adventure and Smart Toys will conducted their annual JDRF Paper Sneaker campaign from September through the end of October in more than 40 stores across eight states.
Moe’s Southwest Grill
The Moe’s Southwest Grill partnership was established in 2011, and since that time, Moe’s has contributed more than $250,000 to JDRF’s mission. Moe’s showcases our partnership by using co-branded beverage cups in its nearly 500 locations across 35 states. They also have a round-up campaign that allows customers to round up their order when using the Moe’s mobile app, with 100% of the round-up going to JDRF. Moe’s restaurants support local chapters in various ways, including in-kind food support for local JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes events; Spirit Night fundraisers; hosting of chapter meetings; and event sponsorship. Additionally, Moe’s employees have participated in the JDRF Walk through individual and corporate Walk teams and key leadership sits on the Georgia Chapter board of directors.
Old Orchard has been a partner of JDRF since 2006 and has helped to raise more than $1 million for type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Through its Old Orchard Healthy Balance line of juice, the company promotes its commitment to JDRF partnership, while helping to raise awareness of JDRF and its work to fund T1D research. Old Orchard is a proud national partner of JDRF and is committed to helping to create a world without T1D.
Party City, a partner of JDRF since 2011, has raised more than $600,000 to support type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Party City conducted their annual scanable campaign from November 3rd through the November 30th in each of its 800 locations, raising nearly $100,000 for T1D research.
Pella Corporation, headquartered in Pella, IA, has been a JDRF partner for 10 years. Pella has been a leading sponsor for local events and has invited its vendors to join in supporting JDRF. The Pella employee family also raises funds in many grassroots efforts throughout the year to support its family and friends living with type 1 diabetes. Pella has contributed $100,000 annually to JDRF for the past several years.
Republic Finance is proud to partner with the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes conducted its Paper Sneaker Sale Campaign in its branches from October 1 through November 30, 2014. Republic Finance associates have a long history of volunteering for and participating in JDRF events and have raised more than $670,000 in the past six years. At JDRF events in more than 125 communities, Republic Finance offices will support JDRF efforts by raising awareness and funds to find life-changing treatments and ultimately a cure for T1D.
Schlotzsky’s Step Up! Fundraising Program, benefitting JDRF, is a give-and-get campaign that gives customers a $1-off coupon good on their next purchase when they make a $1 donation in one of Schlotzsky’s more than 350 restaurants across 37 states. Their campaign will run from September 1 through 28, 2014. Since 2012 and their inaugural campaign, Schlotzsky’s has raised more than $250,000 for JDRF. In its hometown of Austin, TX, Schlotzsky’s supported the local chapter’s Walk to Cure Diabetes in a big way—including in-kind food support, corporate Walk teams, and even bringing out their mascot, Bobby Bun, to add fun and excitement to the event. In numerous other markets, Schlotzsky’s restaurants have contributed food support, event sponsorship, and in-store fundraising opportunities to JDRF chapters in its communities.
The true spirit of Silpada Designs has always been one of giving. Since 2004 Silpada Designs has been a partner with JDRF, contributing more than $1.8 million to support the mission. The Polishing off Type 1 Diabetes Campaign offers a jewelry-polishing cloth for $5, of which $1 goes directly to JDRF.
Stop & Shop
Stop & Shop’s annual JDRF Sneaker Sales Campaign takes place during a 3-week window in September in 59 store locations within their NY Metro Division. This division covers locations throughout parts of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. Over the years, Stop & Shop has raised more than $9 million for JDRF.
Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation
Tommy Hilfiger, a partner of JDRF since 2011, has contributed more than $655,000 toward T1D research and awareness. As part of its commitment to the cause, the company has engaged its employees around the country to participate in the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes and to support various fundraising efforts. Tommy Hilfiger remains committed to JDRF and the fight to cure T1D.
Whitlock came aboard as a national Supporting Partner in 2013 and has contributed more than $215,000 to JDRF over the past two years! Whitlock’s employees participate in numerous JDRF fundraising programs nationwide, including the Walk to Cure Diabetes, JDRF Galas, and JDRF Golf tournaments. The company also contributes its used vehicles and hosts a JDRF fundraising booth at its large technology shows in five locations across the United States. In this way, Whitlock is raising awareness and involving its clients and partners in the process as well. Whitlock is committed to helping JDRF achieve its vision of a world without type 1 diabetes!
