Volunteer
Dedicated and active volunteers are the backbone of JDRF.
JDRF celebrates the power of every person to make a profound impact in our work to cure, treat, and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D). In partnership with our chapters and staff teams and the development of best practices, we maximize the impact of people’s time and talents by ensuring volunteers are best placed, trained, recognized and supported at every level of the organization.
Advocacy
JDRF has built a nationwide network of Advocates dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Congress provides more than $3 for every dollar that JDRF donates to type 1 research!

Young Leadership Committee
The Young Leadership Committee is a group of young professionals dedicated to raising funds and awareness for JDRF. The committee hosts various fundraising, networking, and social events that attract hundreds of young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40–with and without type 1 diabetes. Recognizing the value of young professionals, the YLC supports JDRF though events that are dynamic, energetic, and fun.
