Jody Pincura is a Board of Director for JRDF Delaware. She has been on the board for two years and has been involved with JDRF Delaware for the last six years after her daughter, MacKenzie, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2009.
In 2012, Jody and her family started Kenzie’s Kure, a small non-profit organization in their hometown, dedicated to raising money to help JDRF find a cure for T1D. Since 2009, Kenzie’s Kure has raised more than $100,000 for JDRF. Whether organizing 5K runs, Chick-fil-A Spirit Nights, school walks and fundraisers or Fall Into a Fabulous, a yearly ladies night out event, Jody and her family are committed to finding a cure.
Jody is currently a stay-at-home mom and enjoys spending time with her family. Her background includes various marketing and communications positions within Tenet Healthcare, most recently as the Regional Director, Marketing and Communications for Tenet Pennsylvania. Prior to that she was the Business Development Coordinator at Columbus Community Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Jody holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University. She is a proud Buckeye and enjoys volunteering her time with JDRF.
Jody is married to Scott Pincura and they have three children – MacKenzie – 15; Caitlin – 11 and Tyler – 9.
