JDRF’s commitment to alleviating the incredible burden of living with T1D, while simultaneously working toward a cure, is as strong as ever. This year’s Annual Report tells the story of an organization that continues to have more impact than any other organization in the world on driving progress for a number of groundbreaking approaches to cure, prevent and treat T1D.

It takes a lot of resources to develop life-changing T1D therapies and JDRF can’t do this work alone.  From the beginning when a group of partners began to forge relationships with scientists, building and sustaining partnerships has been integral to our success.  JDRF still works creatively and effectively to influence companies, other nonprofits, and government agencies to fund T1D research and accelerate treatments to market. Our ability to do this is a direct reflection of the credibility, success and influence that we have established over more than four decades of work.

Rest assured our work is far from done. We will push on until T1D is no longer a threat to anyone.
