A Letter from Jeffrey Brewer

April 21-27, 2013, is National Volunteer Week, a time to celebrate and express our gratitude for all that volunteers do to make a difference in our communities. Of course at JDRF, every week is national volunteer week and, in that spirit, I thank you for all your dedication and support as we work together to create a world without T1D.

The volunteer-staff partnership remains the cornerstone of our success at JDRF. As CEO, I am thankful every day for the crucial work of all our volunteers, and realize how vital you are to our organizationā€™s success and progress. Volunteers play a key role in all we do at JDRF, and inspire all of us to keep striving toward our goals and overcoming any challenges that come our way. Thanks to the passion and commitment of volunteers, I have no doubt that our vision of a world without T1D will become a reality.

JDRF would not be the force for T1D research it is today without volunteers like you who generously invest their time, talents, passion, commitment, and expertise to build our success and growth. During this week, and every week, please know how much your work is appreciated. Thank you, on behalf of all us at JDRF who have the privilege of working side by side with you for this remarkable organization.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Brewer
