JDRF Australia’s Jelly Baby Month

JDRF Australia's Jelly Baby Month

On May 24, JDRF volunteers turned Martin Place in Sydney, Australia, into a sea of orange as part of the nationwide Jelly Baby Month merchandise campaign to raise awareness of and funds for type 1 diabetes research.

JDRF and Jelly Baby Month were profiled on Channel 7’s Sunrise morning program, with popular TV personalities Mel and Kochie. Jasper the giant Jelly Baby, and Will, the face of Jelly Baby Month, were featured on television to more than 350,000 viewers Australia-wide.

Sydney’s morning commuter crowd dug deep to donate, and the volunteers raised more than $3,000 in merchandise sales and donations in three hours alone—a great result!
